THEME: FROM FARM TO EXPORT: TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION FOR AGRIC-PRENEURS (Raising women… Young Agricultural Tech-Preneurs with IT Skills and Tools).
As we all know, Information and Communications Technology (ICTs) provide key support to socio-economic development through direct job creation, contribution to cultural development of the local area, education, training and skills development. ICTs helps realize efficient and productive gains in the private, public and informal sectors, across the health; educational, agricultural and other innovative sectors of our economy.
Thus the first edition of the women and young Agric Tech – Preneurs (WAYATEP) Summit which is a pre- event to sensitize women on technology applications for women productivity in Agriculture brings together women and young farmers at any level or those aspiring to be tech-preneurs in agricultural value-chain opportunities and farming processes to a national discourse to engaged in Agric businesses, using ICT tools.
The theme is “FROM FARM TO EXPORT: TECHONOLOGY SOLUTIONS FOR AGRIC-PRENEURS”– Raising Women Agric Tech-Preneurs with innovative Information Technology (IT) Skills & Tools from Farm to Exports.

It is our pleasure to invite you to be part of this summit which hopes to bring Nigerian females (including younger ones) Farmers and tech-preneurs to be exposed to IT tools from all states of the federation and the FCT at such a time like this. The event shall hold on 26th – 27th July, 2018 at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Maitama by 10am prompt on both days.
The 2 days is a pre-event to assist our women and young agric-preneurs engage through plenary discussions, digital demonstrations of tools for enhancing farming processes and is information professionals.
